If you are new to using retinol & retinal:

1. For the first two weeks, use it every other night in the evening.
2. Apply a small amount to the areas of concern.
3. If irritation occurs during use, reduce the amount and frequency, and use it together with a moisturizer containing soothing ingredients to help relieve irritation.
